In a Nebraska Rural Poll conducted this past spring about 50% of respondents said they feel that they are better off in 2010 than they were 5 years ago. That is up 7 points from last year's poll, but down 3 points from the 2008 poll. 21% of respondents said they felt worse off than 5 years ago, which is down from 28% who said they felt they were worse off last year.
