Lincoln, Nebraska native Theodore Sorenson passed away on Sunday. Sorenson was the key speech writer for President John F. Kennedy. Along with the president's brother Robert, Sorenson was considered one of the closest advisors to President Kennedy. Through Kennedy, Sorenson's words will echo through history. He was known for his compassion, his Midwestern sensibility, his dedication to public service, and his razor-sharp wit. He was 82 years old.
