Nebraska Watch
A statewide contest is on to find the best burger in Nebraska. The "Best Nebraska Burger" contest is being sponsored by Nebraska ranchers and farmers in conjunction with the Nebraska Beef Council. Everyone in the state is invited to vote for their favorite burger at any Nebraska restaurant. Any Nebraska restaurant of any size is eligible to win. The top five vote getters will be evaluated by a panel of judges for taste, appearance, and proper preparation. A winner will be selected from those 5 top vote getters and will receive a plaque, $2,000 in promotional assistance from the Nebraska Beef Council and recognition on the Nebraska Beef Council website.
